Important Men in my life
Here are two. Marc and Stan Evanstein. They are my hairdressers - mostly Marc - the one with the beautiful long hair. Don't get me wrong, Stan has great hair too, it just doesn't cascade. Marc has been cutting and coloring my hair for as long as I can remember. Now he cuts Hollywood's hair and has even cut G-Man's hair. I tell anyone that will listen that getting my hair done is not an appointment, it is an adventure. These two have so many friends and I get to hear animated snippets of what is going on with everyone. Marc is very funny and very high energy. He makes me happy. Except that he never cuts my bangs short enough.
Bankers Working Hard and Playing Hard
Here are a few photos from our recent offsite in Raleigh, NC. We are fortunate that one of our co-workers owns a beautiful piece of property outside the city and she has a facility for events. We got a lot done in 2 days and we really had a good time after hours.

G-Man Goes GQ
Yesterday we visited with Lou, the suit-picker-outer and fitter
that fits perfectly through the shoulders and only needs the sleeve and pants cuff taken it as well as a tad at the waist. He is also getting a handsome shirt and tie, along with black tassel loafers. If you are attending Hollywood's graduation on June 9th, you will see GQ G-Man in person. Otherwise, I will post a photo when he debuts his new look. My little man is now a big man.
Tight With A Buck
She didn't get it from me, but this kid is very tight with her money. She is appalled over the price of gas and says when the price goes over $3.50 per gallon, she is going to start carpooling. She says she has to put her foot down somewhere and she thinks that is the point. Ha! I told her she needs to start thinking about who she could carpool with since we'll be there very soon.

G-Man is Coming
I'm really looking forward to G-Man's visit this weekend. We'll go to the movies, ride bikes on the boardwalk, take a hike through First Landing State Park, and sleep in late. I am taking him to get fitted for a suit to wear to Hollywood's graduation.
Speaking of Hollywood, after much deliberation, she has decided to go to VMI. I am happy about that as I think that is the best fit for her. She will have to cut her hair though, but will be able to keep one inch!
Here is a picture of Hollywood with a few of her classmates from her Physics class. They were encouraged to attend this Physics "magic show" last week. It was really good. The guy with the bow tie did many tricks and after each, he explained which physics concept was in play. He injected a lot of humor - I really enjoyed it and I think the kids were surprised how much they enjoyed it too.
